Natural Marble Slab Selection Guide: Why Full-Slab Photos Matter
1. What Can a Small Sample Show?
A sample helps indicate the general color and touch, but it cannot show the full movement of the veins, tonal transitions or local characteristics of a large slab. This difference is especially important for stones with expressive patterns.
2. Four Things to Check in Full-Slab Photos
- Base color: Check whether the overall tone fits the design direction;
- Veining: Review direction, density and contrast for the intended wall or surface;
- Details: Inspect edges, natural lines, voids and filled areas;
- Combination: For multiple slabs, confirm that adjacent colors and patterns work together.

3. What to Confirm Before Ordering
- Full-slab and close-up photos from the same batch;
- Slab number, dimensions, thickness and finish;
- Required cutting, edging or drilling;
- Packing, edge protection, delivery and inspection arrangements.
4. Selection Priorities by Space
Feature walls depend on vein expression and continuity. Countertops require attention to flatness, thickness and maintenance. Entryways can use more distinctive slabs, while large continuous areas should prioritize coordinated slabs from the same batch.
